I’m confused man, you think he’s one of the biggest waste of talents, but you also want him to stay?
I didn't mean that. He will be floped If he leaves juve. If the rumors are true and Roma take him it would be huge downgrade for him.

But that's his value . Second rate clubs .
You don't see top 15 clubs lining up for him yet his apostles want him to be payed at least 5.5 million like Bremer who is probably the only world class player we have .
The delusion in some of these people is staggering .

his stats kind of suck. 10 goals and 3 assists in 37 is very mediocre for one the 2 main stars of the team.

he also's not a creative player. he doesn't unlock defenses. he doesn't play make. he doesn't dribble well.

explosive pace can only take you so far.

in shot creating actions, he's 99 percentile. successful take-ons: 84. progressive carries: 97. expected assists: 94 (if only vlahovic was a better finisher)

fact is that even a broken chiesa is an elite player in some attacking metrics

expected assists must be one of the worst things i have heard of.

either you did assist or you didn't.
nah. you assist, your striker misses = the assist was there. you're still a creative player, your striker is just a knobhead for standing in the way of you stat padding

again, 99th percentile in shot creating actions. he's creative. that's the fucking name of the metric, buddy. you're wrong.

talk about his fitness though and i'm with you. same as with dybala. oh wait, you never talked about his fitness :hihi:

i did talk about his fitness multiple times and my view has always been the positives of dybala out weight the negatives

also dybala played same amount of games chiesa last season but only 2 games more. yet he outscored and out assissted him significantly.

so why you even bring him up just proves how wrong you are about chiesa.

and those assist stats mean nothing. him hoofing the ball the expecting vlahovic to magically contrort his body to strike it into goal doesn't mean it was a assist

again you either assist or you don't

do you want juve to have a almost won cl scudetto too? are you one of those give them participation trophy type of people?

...him hoofing the ball the expecting vlahovic to magically contrort his body to strike it into goal doesn't mean it was a assist...
funny thing about vlahovic is that he scores impossible goals, but misses sitters. that's why chiesa (and kostic) have such a low amount of assist - and that's how mckennie did "assist" vlahovic before an impossible screamer against lazio (or fiorentina, don't remember)

also chiesa played the majority of the season on the left while he's better on the right. put him on the right in an attacking setup and even as a cripple he's easily a double digit player in both g and a

also you don't have to convince me about dybala's abilities. his fitness is shit though. if it wasn't he'd still be our 10

Id rather him extend than seeing him at another serie a club but if Motta don’t want him what can u do
this board won't replace him and it will be hard to bring in another Winger like him. It'd be Lose-Lose for both parties neither chiesa earns the money he asked nor juve able to find a replacement for him in a short time.

According to Albanese, Motta will speak to Chiesa once the team returns from Germany, the coach will be very clear and inform Chiesa that he is out of the proyect

The biggest issue is what Motta thinks. Because if Motta is willing to work with him and sees a possibility of him being used regularly, then Chiesa should definitely renew at less than 5m a year.

For Chiesa there are no better options. He didn’t want to go to Roma and Napoli will probably play 352 under Conte which as we saw under Allegri, didn’t suit him. None of those teams are in the champions league and I don’t see EPL teams who are in the champions league bidding for him.

Given his stats, injury record etc, he shouldn’t be expecting more than he is getting now and should accept less. If he renews and has a great season then he has more options later. If he doesn’t renew he could be frozen out.

I dont know why I thought that were paying Chiesa like 7M per year and its 5M...

Now I understand why the report is that we want to renew him for less than 5M, makes sense
