Was obvious that they were fishing around for opportunities. Alot of players will try and use the euros as a way to find better deals for themselves.

What happened? Chiesa's agent realised that roma actually have fuck all money, now wants a renewal at Juve?
Would have been fun to watch an attacking trio of Lukaku (if they extended the loan), Dybala and Chiesa, on paper looking really good, but in reality never fit to play any minutes together. Too bad Matic and Spinazzola left along with Zaniolo even earlier, Then they had and have Ndicka, Aouar, Sanches, Smalling, Abraham and a bunch of others that are injury prone. Yet they keep going after those type of players. It's almost like they want to emulate us.

I'm almost certain roma will not do as well as last season, they won't get an extension on lukaku, Chelsea are only interested in selling him off this summer and roma certainly wont be able to afford him, the likes of Smalling and Aouar will most probably leave, and a limited budget roma will have to be extremely clever, but their sporting director only just joined so I doubt he's had time to plan this properly.

chiesa: ok juve i changed my mind i want to accept your offer
juve: well yes but no. that was yesterday. today we give u half of previous offer and a nutella sandwich
He and his agent probably bet on having an amazing Euro and that way, increase suitors and wage demands.

That plan has completely gone to shit so far. Could change if he scores a winner against the Swiss tho and plays a significant role in the knockouts.

I thought I read a 'nigella sandwich' there & thought damn if you can get a British woman who can cook like that then deal is sealed.

What saga?

Maybe if people had some common sense and didnt believe every single rumor and overreact, they'd have a normal temperament over this lol
Yes saga is an exaggeration so let's call it tedious media speculation.

For me Chiesa was a future symbol of this club and after losing him for a year due to injury, supporting him through his rehabilitation then showing patience after many poor performances and niggling injuries I would of expected the bridge renewal to be a formality as a sign of good faith knowing the financial situation of the club.

Yes he's totally entitled to ask for more money but that could of been spoken about down the line but the fact that be looked around and is seemingly only signing the extension because he got no better offers is worrying to me.

Of course we don't know if any of its even true but speculating about the only info that we are given is what these forums are for so on the things I've mentioned I'd definitely sell if a great offer presents itself and we can get a good replacement.

Just renew on a amicable figure and be done with this farce. Juve and Chiesa is a story that deserves to continue on to happier ending. Not like this.

And we need to add more quality wingers to the team, not lose main one we have. Even if been slowed down by injuries. I wanna see him under progressive coach in his real position.

Agree. We stuck with him during his injury issues and through his periods of erratic form. This new season looks like it'll be his best chance to shine again and show the ability he used to. For both sides the right thing to do is to sort it out asap.

I like the guy but if someone thinks his poor form was because of Allegri and not because he was recovering from a terrible injury where he lost that bit of explosiveness, is dead wrong. He can be a very good player on his day but Im afraid Chiesa we saw before the injury aint coming back. Inb4 he has amazing wc qualifier game vs Azerbeijan or Faro Islands and people get carried away.
