Would be crazy to not renew him, especially after being patient with him to come back from injury. It was always going to take a couple of seasons to get back to speed and have the fitness to play consecutive games. The season ahead is the one where you would look for him to be back to his normal level and we should benefit from it.

We won't sign better.

For context he played as a RM in the formation used by Spaletti tonight, not really RW per se.

Unfortunately he also limped off with a potential injury when being subbed off, but might as well have been just cramps, we’ll have to wait a bit to find out more on that.

I agree but what is the max yearly gross salary you would sign him for?

It looked like he was holding his back, probably just some soreness. I'm not too concerned tbh.

Just seen it again at the end of the clip i posted above and it looks like he was limping a bit too, maybe just cramps or took a knock around that time? Hopefully nothing too serious though.
