I still think he stays tbh
.
Him suffering some minor injury that will keep him out for a few weeks to a month is precisely what i expect during the Euro’s or throughout the summer mercatto, just enough to see him stuck here as well as to even potentially open his eyes that he has been way too unreliable in the last two seasons to be making absurd demands regarding his renewal.

I still don’t want Chiesa sold. I agree Yildiz is very good but what if he (Yildiz) doesn't click (we've only seen him in a handful of games) or if he gets injured? Whats our plan B? And we have a pretty loaded schedule for next season.

We are fucked if he gets injured, but that's no different to all players.

Let's say motta changes tactics, doesn't need chiesa or soule, we buy koops, change formation etc..my concern will be depth from there on. Cuz we have no depth right now for those changes.

Motta likes his offensive wingers to play on the opposite side of their strongest foot. That means Chiesa on the left - the same place Yildiz would play. Soule` is left footed and would play on the right. Greenwood could play on either side as he is ambidextrous and has also played as a false nine too. Hence the interest.

Chiesa can play on both sides too
