No smoke without fire. Something is brewing here. Just have to hope it’s not worst case scenario where we are selling for a fee less than 40 million, as is being reported.

Other teams have sold players in the last year of their contracts for big money. If we are selling, then our best hope may be the scousers selling Salah to Saudi and putting up big money for him.

“Chiesa has missed 33% of the matches in the league. He scored 21 goals in 4 years (average of 5 and of course we should note there was the injury to his acl). Too little for a second striker who demands a renewal of €6.5m per year” (@FabRavezzani)

With the departure of Allegri, I was hoping to see the "real" Chiesa unleashed.
Maybe its just Giuntoli playing hardball with Ramadani.

IMHO, Chiesa never got a fair chance. First the ACL tear and then Allegri (which is like having an ACL tear in both knees).

Rightfully so. His output has been too low last season to put him in line with the top earners.

Vlahovic has won many points for JJ on his own in comparison.

Chiesa probably saw that Juventus is offering the same wages to Rabiot to renew and said..: “You are not cuting his salary, why should I? F@ck that”
I'll believe it when I see it.

kinda crazy that Chiesa is asking for a raise when you think about it. I know you can’t really control injuries and Allegri‘s tactics, but still.

personally I don’t care if he stays or goes, same with Soule. We have three starting caliber players between the two and Yildiz, so if they wanna sell one of Soule/Chiesa to fill holes elsewhere, go for it. They can find good backups, ie Zhegrova.

We need a right winger. If Chiesa stays, I'm sure he will not play on the right. From a tactical aspect, it makes more sense to keep Soule but most probably they've already decided to plusvalenza him.

And if Chiesa leaves, we have Yildiz to fill in on that left hand side so it's understandable why they'd consider putting Chiesa on the market.

Yeah if we’re just talking football, Soule is better on the ball than Chiesa, which is noteworthy considering how Motta likes to play. So I can easily see Motta preferring to keep Soule if given the choice between the two. But this is probably all bs anyway, I’ll wait until Agresti or someone legit confirms it.

he scored two goals in like 100 minutes playing in a trident. and it was only a makeshift team when montero said fuck it, why not

i'd try my best to keep him. some things aren't meant to be, that's life, but imagine the replacements. jj did a downgrade on most positions lately, bremer was the only slight upgrade to de ligt

This must be your first year following Juventus transfer rumors. 95% of the crap you read is smoke without fire or just generalized statements that play both sides and cant be wrong.

Last year we read every day that one of Chiesa or Vlahovic had to and would be sold. How'd that turn out?

There's obviously natural smoke that Chiesa could be sold if he doesnt sign a contract extension. That's common sense. I just dont think that decision will ultimately be determined until late July and into August. To act like Chiesa has made his decision while at Italy camp 2 weeks after he said he wants to stay at Juventus makes zero sense. Especially with a new coach coming in that hasnt even been hired yet.

Chiesa will probably start talking with Juve again after he takes a holiday once Italy is done at the Euros. I fully expect him to be at training camp when it opens and for Motta to get his hands on him for a bit before any decisions are made.

What a dumb thing to say. This is a very modest demand and still puts him below Rabiot (who I guess is deserving in his opinion???) and at like half of Vlahovic.

Ridiculous.
