He should really back himself more. There are times where you just want him to run straight at the goal, defenders hate him running at them.
There was one in the second half where he was running to the box on the break and should have just headed at the defender and shifted him right/left and shot. Instead he played a weak pass to Vlahovic and lost it. He's capable of scoring himself or winning a penalty without forcing it. If he runs at defenders in the box there is a good chance he'll get fouled or create a gap for someone else if he doesn't score.

He can take anyone and beat them whilst creating a goal scoring opportunity out of nothing. Verona were absolutely terrified of him tonight and he really should of had a goal.
Though I do find it frustrating when on a counter attack he slows the play down allowing the opposition to get back into formation before he takes them on but he usually seems to pull it off.

Even yesterday during his cameo he was about to singlehandedly get us all the points via earning a clear-cut PK if only not for the VAR choosing to deliberately ignore it…

Only valid criticism/question marks regarding Chiesa is mainly his fitness levels and maybe the finishing or overall decision making that he could surely improve on as i feel he tends to be a bit of too wasteful at times.

Either way he is still our most crucial player despite all the injuries struggles.
