Chiesa’s agent has informed Juventus that for the renewal beyond 2025 he is expecting a salary of at least 8M€/season to align with the top of the squad, as promised upon arrival in Turin. The club does not intend to guarantee a similar salary and evaluates offers in the market.

our own fault, we have spoilt these players.
This is basically asking to be sold. Who asks for a raise 2 years regaining on the contract coming out of an ACL injury and a shitty season?

Can hardly blame him for wanting to leave. Who wants to play a team where everything feels in transition?

The timing in general is pretty common and convenient for both player and club. But yeah, the coming off the torn ACL with the up and down season makes it tricky.

My guess.... despite all the rumors, Chiesa isnt sold, has a good first half of the season, and is extended sometime in 2024

Cut off all the mercs, re-sign for 5-6m / season as one of the top-earners :p

But seriously, this is the most painful side effect of "freebies" and loaning trash like Paredes

too many rumours for Liverpool, even PSG and Newcastle. Klopp wants him, and they can match the desired salary of 8m easily. I think the boy is leaving... Dusan will be saved i guess for one more season but Chiesa is bye bye
