Me too. I feared the worst, you don't lose your best outfield player - an attacker - and not suffer from it, especially when the team is already disjointed.
Definitely, good systems can cover for player Absences but in the situation we are in now it was always going to kill us.

I hope that we handle him with great care and not rush it, i for one feel that giving him the no.10 now will only put more unnecessary pressure on him to want to do more and force it which could likely result in more recurring injuries… if the club is indeed thinking about giving him the ‘10’, which proves the level of faith and expectations that they have of him, then it should be postponed for at least another year to allow Chiesa to recover fully and be able to tell what version of him will we see this season, basically just slowly reintroducing him into the team should be the way to go for the first couple of months.

I have plenty of optimism for the future if we have a fit and in-form Chiesa to our side, he is going to be instrumental in both our present and future if we are to stand any chance of going far in UCL but for now the only thing we should be focusing on in regards to him is to be very careful with the way we will manage his recovery.
