Do other players dislike him?. The hugs look cold when he scores.
I saw that but I don't think it had anything to do with Chiesa. Pretty sure its just nerves, there is understandable tension in the team because they are, by Juve standards, under performing. 1-0 up has not been the guarantee for Pirlo's Juve that it has been for Conte or Allegri. Everyone looked much more at ease at the second goal when they knew it was over as a contest.

He looks like a genuinely good & determined guy who was desperate to come here. Berna & Rugani seem to be outliers who for whatever reason probably just couldn’t handle the pressure etc.

Costa was more concerned with doing tik tok videos than getting back healthy. Great player on his day but I´d take a less talented Chiesa 10/10 times.

Like Chiesa a lot, especially his mindset. Seems like a humble kid who doesn´t take the opportunity for granted and is serious about wanting to improve. Invests his time in improving as a player rather than boosting his social media image:tup:

Pretty sure Costa had good goal/assist per minute ratio for us, problem was he was rarely available or getting back from an injury.

Chiesa has done well so far but it doesn't make Costa a bad player. Odd that people like to down play our players once they leave.

Engine, pace, stamina, strength and grinta all rolled into one, just amazing to have this guy around, might still have some lapses and perhaps lacks in his decision making at times but those are parts of the game that can be worked on and usually also improve through experience, barring any serious injuries aside this guy has potential to be really special.

And i'm saying this after a defeat.... he really made an impression on me with the way he kept running and fighting for every ball, trying and pushing all the time to create something, a bit rushed and maybe not as effective as we'd wish but still more usefull than the duds creating nothing and taking no real responsability at all, whether he will be on the left or right this season doesn't matter, has potential to be as efficient from either side, just needs to keep a clear head.

That he's improved and added so much to his game in less than 12 months shows that he can grow into something very special. He's so, so quick but his agility and desire to guard the ball really complement his speed. He even pulled off a few fancy manoeuvres which I hadn't seen him try yet.

His going to ground so easily was silly and unnecessary. He had that habit at Fiorentina too so the refs know all about it. He should just steam ahead with that speed of his. All those mugs calling him a rich man's Krasic, they'd forgotten that some wingers/attacking mids don't need the trickery of Ronaldinho or Messi's technique and control to be great. Speed, strength, desire and an eye for goal do just fine ala Kaka and Nedved.
