It’s crazy how much this guys value has dropped since his injury.

A mixture of his injury, losing his pace and explosiveness, Allegri’s poor coaching, a very poor Eurosand his inability to alter the way he plays…and there’s no surprise he’s barely worth €30m (on his contract year)

Oh and he’s gone 100%.

Well, according to latest rumours, 20M and he is gone...

I recon 25. But minimum 15 to avoid a loss. Truth is Chiesa just isn't attracting any real interest asides from peasant clubs like roma so there's no way we are going to get 30+ for someone with a year left on his contract and had a poor euros after he stupidly told the world "watch what I can do"

Roma will be shipping off Abraham so there is no way 25m will throw them off Chiesa.

Id be sad to see him go, but its obvious he isn’t the same player everyone expected him to turn out to be, a lot of it due to factors out of his control.

they can’t afford 25M?
Can Roma afford Chiesa's salary request ? He request increase for our contract renewal.

On the value, he still worth €35m or at least 30m because in his last year of the contract. He scored 9 goals and 3 assists for us last season. This number almost the sama as Hojlund 22/23 season in Atalanta before bought by Man Utd.

His performance in Euro doesnt increase his value because he didnt score or assist. But he still one of the main creator for Italy in the tournament especially against Albania. Lots of other players also still havent score in Euro : Mbappe, Marcus Thuram, Saka, Foden, etc

It is incompetence if he is sold to Roma for a bargain fee.

Sell outside of Italy.

Is there really no other club interested in him? And is Motta also not interested?

Who wants him outside of Italy tho? There was some murmurs about Bayern or United but nothing really strong otherwise.

The only real concrete interest has come from Roma and Napoli.

Roma can have him if it means we keep Soule. Not that I think Soule is better, but hes younger, cheaper, and might fit Motta better technically
Soule has better upside and potential. We know what Chiesa is but with Soule I'm interesed in what his ceiling could be.

since yanited don't want sancho best option is straight swap for both.
Sancho is on twice the wages though, and far from worth it.

If we are to replace Chiesa just rather keep Soule around or otherwise look for some new cheaper talent or an already well established name and not overpaid rejects of other top clubs again.

this would only make sense if yildiz was showing he is heir to del piero. like messi was heir to ronaldinho.

he's not
Do you not believe the potential in Yildiz?

I mean he doesn't have to be ADP, Messi or Ronaldinho in order for the club to bet on him.

Another angle that i am thinking of is that Chiesa has a superstar status in Juve, also superstar status in the italian NT despite the last few seasons being average and riddled by injuries, is still one of the only Juve players that keeps fetching us waves of new fans around Italy due to the ‘hero’ image from the Euro’s, so if we are to replace him it probably needs to be with someone of similar international status, and by that i mean being a star player in a top national team, then also not sure exactly how the current board sees this but without him we basically have no guaranteed starters in the Italy squad either which historically always a had a core of top Juve players in it, wouldn’t rule out that we might even end up forcing his stay and giving him reassurances on this basis alone, especially now that the Calafiori deal which could have filled that ‘italian superstar’ void seems unlikely.

Absurd numbers if true.
