Is he defensively sound enough to play the RM role? If yes, thats a good addition (for a lot of money though, surprised we couldnt get a discount in these times), we definitely needed a solid wide option.

Only watched the Inter game, but really liked how he did vs them defensively. Also in Viola set up he was real wing back, while in our setup expect him to be more attacking one, having Danilo behind him.

someone wrote yesterday that the option only becomes an obligation if all 3 conditions (juve in cl, he plays at least 30 minutes on 60% of the matches, he scores 10g10a over the first 2 years) are met. now today's tuttosport and gds both write that only 1 condition is enough. so we basically buy him for 50 + 5/10 bonus, but will spread his amortization over 7 seasons (2 now, 8 next year, then he'll most probably sign his permanent contract for 5 years).

In our setup he'd be a RM when defending, so hardly a wingback, yeah. Still needs to be sound defensively and self-sustained on the flank, Danilo / de Ligt (I imagine Pirlo will try him as the RB/RCB hybrid) won't provide much help when going forward.
