would you rather have him as a winger?
He can't possibly be worse than Danilo.
he can't tackle and winning duels isn't his strongest suit either. danilo is decent to good in both of these.

as a winger, he was a pretty useful squad player in his first year. kulu is miles better though, so he accepts either a bench role, or napoli's (or any other club's) offer.

I would rather have him as far away from this team as possible.
But in the worst case scenario we get stuck with him, we need to find a solution and get inventive.

Using him as a Right winger is not a solution btw, he is horrible there. SO pirlo will have to find a place for him.

The most logical is midfield but i just dont trust Bernardeschi anymore.

Can't pass or shoot either. What can he actually do?

Then the solution is to bench his ass.

Lets hope so.
I liked him but his talent just dissapeared after his first season here.

Seems to have a severe case of lack of confidence and bad decition making.

@Cronios warned us about this. told us this was a mistake to spend money on these mediocre italians.

but did we learn? no, now we want to get locatelli and zaniolo. we never learn from our mistakes

What makes Berna so infuriating is that he looks like he could be a great player, but he’s incapable of reaching his potential.

He’s big and strong, he has a nice first touch and good control. He works hard and has great stamina. But his football brain is so broken that it negates all these positive traits.

It’s completely different from say Matuidi, who simply lacked talent and worked super hard to compensate. I find the case of Bernardeschi a lot more frustrating.

It is because with matuidi you can see he is just a limited footballer... but Bernardeschi showed a lot of proficiency in the past... so his problem is totally mental.

The infuristing thing... is that he has gone to total waste.

lets see for example the dybala case. He came here and in his frist 2 years he was a joy to watch...then it came his hungo over seasons where he looked like a shadow and now he returned to te the player he was.

On the other hand, Berna was promising in Viola, came here and banged some good asists and goals with few mins while looking stellar.... and suddenly the next season onwards he turned into a brainless monkey. Is a case for study to be honest.... because he is definitely not talentless, but man his decition making as of late is atrocious.Total lack of a north.

It is extremely ridiculous that, despite the chances he was given, his contribution to our team so far is on the level of Pjaca and Krasic.

At least Krasic gave us one memorable game where he scored a hat trick in his first game.
