How many of these postions is he actually good in ? the answer is zero so whats the point ? The guy has had enough chances by now pirlo isnt going to magically make him into a world beater.

I dont know what 'potential' he still has remaining that we are waiting to see at the age of 26 especially after having a season comparable to Amauri but sure, if there are no decent offers, he's okay to remain I guess.
In all seriousness I wouldnt be surprised if pirlo has a different role for him. As long as it isn't in that final third then I would consider him as a rotational useful player. Never a starter unless pirlo somehow turns him into the next zambrotta which is very unlikely.
