The problem is quite evident.

Bernardeschi has never had the football brain, passing, vision, or decision making to play as trequartista.

His best position is winger, and he used to be quite a good winger at Fiorentina, and in his first season for Juve.

But now he's gained weight and become fat, he can't play winger anymore because he is too slow for that position.

He's no longer a winger and was never a treq, so what is he now?

He gained muscles not fat but still looks heavy and much slower than before.

As for his position I say he should be tried as a B2B, I still think that would be his best position.

This whole B2B bullshit tall about Berna is going on for too long and its pretty dumb. Berna should be kept as far away as possible from our goal because of how many balls he looses and how many times he gets dispossesed. Playing him in a midfleid position is asking from trouble.

the main deficient of this guy is that he can't give a good pass ....

his physic is good, slow no problem, his shooting power is great, holding the ball is ok...but he can't give the simplest basics of football routine, passing and he has

ZERO vision to the field so you are Can level player. day by day i feel sorry for Allegri ....how he won the league with those I don't know ...!!
What? If anything allegri was blessed with the better bernardeschi from his first season with us.

Now sarri is coping with a shor haired fat and talentless version of that bernadeschi

And what else we can do? Is that or sell. So we better try it before

Even Bobby P was a better TQ than him.

Bit sad how his career has progressed over here. The only position imo where he can revive himself again is that left midfield spot where Matuidi plays but that is also got more to do with Matuidi's lack of technical prowess than anything. (Basically lack of better midfield options).

If Chiesa gets bought over the summer, he'll be nothing more than a €40M bench sub.

People still fail to realize: that's his intended use anyway, he was starting because of our injury problems. Everyone relax, even Berna knows he's a bench player.
Nah. He will be starter soon. Sarri doesnt trust the fap trident so berna it is.

I would love to see berna on midfield to see what he can do, also that way it let us field the trident

Who was the ones here who went full bukkake on signing this guy? I’m not gonna go OTT and exaggerate and say how cack this guy is as he’s an ok player. But Ok isn’t good for us. I think he was the best out of a bad crop of Italian players that we felt the need to buy him also he’s from the same town/ city whatever as Gigi. Which means absolutely nothing.

Yes, this is quite obvious. He plays in a position which requires all the skills that you mentioned and is the perfect position to pump up the assist stats.

In the previous 4 seasons, when he played on the wing or as the second striker, he had 45 goals/assists in 8456 minutes, which is 1 G/A in 187 minutes, or goal or an assist every second match.
This season, he's yet to make an assist and scored only once in 930 minutes. He's not the problem, it's the position he's forced to play.

Which is why suggestions to play him as CM would also fail.
