The pros and cons of playing fullback fit Bernardeschi. It’s probably the most physically demanding position, but that plays into his strengths as he never stops running and has no issue putting a shift in. His stamina is very good. On the other hand, there’s much less responsibility than most other positions, so there’s a lot less there to crowd the mind, which is Berna’s biggest weakness. Sure he’ll have to get better defensively, but that will come naturally just with experience. If Cuadrado could make the switch successfully, I don’t see why Berna couldn’t.
