The 4-5-1 will be dropped, since we now have enough players to regularly play a trident, it wouldn't make any sense otherwise. As it stands we will play a 4-3-3 variation. Maybe the 4-3-1-2, depending on the role Dybala will have.
Unless we heavily invest in a new CB, that would mean 3-5-2 is back...

I m really glad the rumors of getting him are fading out, surely he won't reach to the Americas preparations and it's unlikely to buy someone who will affect our formation thst much, after our main summer preparation.

Finally another player who will shine against the Empolis and Bolognas. So Higuain is not anymore the only one, who is made for these matches.

Rumors seem to be suggesting there is still a gulf in negotiations although Marotta were prioritizing Costa press day, Schick stuff and De Sciglio and Szczesny transfers. Supposedly we offered 40+2 but Fiorentina want 40+10. We also offered 40 + Sturaro apparently. Problem is not sure whether Fiorentina want that or whether Sturaro wants that either.

My guess is that if this deal happens it will be 40+5. I don't know what kind of salary he will be on but I think he could be just making 2m net. Still he will end up costing the club ~13m a year.

Other thing is I am not sure whether he would be a starter under Allegri - I can so see him going with Costa-Dybala-Mandzukic. He will probably be first change for one of those though.

If we plan him to be with us in the US tour, then it must be done today,so tomorrow he'll have medicals.
Otherwise i can see this one drag for a long time...

Common Beppe, close the fucking deal, pay the 40+5 or whatever and be done with it.

Dybala is sitting on the bench in a 4-3-3, so quite obviously we will play a 4-2-3-1

Not necessarily. Dybala could play wide right and Costa/Mandzu wide right.

The reason we won't play 4-3-3 though is because of the mids. If we had someone like Verratti or Iniesta on the team, then it would start to make sense.

Dybala is not a winger and completely and utterly wasted down the wing where he'll play disgustingly poor so it should never be considered.

We could try a 4-4-2 tbh.

I could see a different scenario. Costa will be on bench. He is coming from different league. Mandzu with his workrate. But Mandzu is not right side player really.

-----------------------Higuain----------------------
Mandzu---------------Dybala-----------------Berna

As the season progresses Costa will take starting position from Mandzu who will become rotation option in the squad between league games and CL games.

Both Costa and Berna will be of similar price but lets remind that Costa is still a loan. So he is less of a "oh no our new signing on bench". While Bernardeschi we are buying outright if we buy him. Add the factor that Bernardeschi is serie a proven so more likely to start.

Reminds me that Alves didnt start all the time in the first part of season. But guys like Higuain got to the XI very quickly.

This is a thing for Allegri for many years now. He doesnt push players from other leagues to XI instantly. We could have a case were Costa is on bench in serie a but plays in CL. Also Allegri is rotating for the 2nd part of season. He has said himself many times, the most important part of season is the jan-may/june period. To time the momentum right.

Usually I don't judge players based on a highlights reel, but man this guy's got a bit of everything. Pace, dribbling, passing and shooting.
Wow, I liked him before, but fucking love him after that reel. It seems like most people at this forum needs to hide behind the fact that he's Italian, "and he's italian" as if he's a mediocre player but being Italian makes him better. Look at this kid! We don't need nationality in that sense with this fap-worthy dude! Anyone would wanna have a diverse player like him, like you say campionesidd, guy's got a bit of everything. We need this!
