Relax, he's coming. Viola don't want him anymore, to the point where he already twice got a permission to not show up for their pre-season camp. Their fans turned on him at the end of the season and it got even worse since then so there's no going back in this one.

Reminds me of when we were going to sign Giuseppe Rossi from Villareal for 30M and we couldn't agree on the bonus clauses either. Some niggling penny's we couldn't agree on which caused another transfer saga that costed us way too long.

I think he's overpriced though and I wouldn't loose any sleep if we lost out on him tbh.
Thank goodness that transfer never happened or it could have cost us dearly. We couldn't afford those figures back then on an injury prone player.

€30m back then was more like €50m now, no way we had that sort of money to spend on a single player.

Congrats on what - on the surface - seems like a great purchase, but I must warn you; Don't jump to any conclusions regarding Bonucci just yet. Yes he did improve a lot at Juventus, and we had the perfect setup for him at the club, but I wouldn't be too certain that he can bring that to Milan. He might, but he does not offer guarantees.

When you sign a player like Higuain for instance, you know you're getting a 25+ goals per season man, but when you sign Bonucci... Well, no one knows for sure yet. We'll have to wait and see if you signed "Beast Mode Bonucci" or "BonBon".

What makes me calm is that :beppe: for the past 6-7 years has shown that he knows what he's doing.

Let him enjoy it until they get a transfer ban...or worse. :klin:

    Wut?!?!?!
There are so many holes in that argument I am not even sure where to begin :D

Higuain is a fine player for a certain level of expectations. What he has never been, is not and will never be, however, is a leader i.e. a player for the big scene, the big games.
The whole reason why Juve paid those moneys for a 29 yo player was namely those big-stage moments, so not entirely sure what makes you consider that transfer an example of Juve/Marotta hitting the mark.
