Was a fairly long, boring and depressing movie to me. However the childhood scenes were cool. Definately not De Niro at his best.

It is a special movie, you either love it or hate it, and its not a movie you just turn on now and then, but a movie you relax to. Same with 2001.

I think it is absolutely one of De Niro's best, together with of course Godfather 2, Untouchables, Heat, Sleepers, Goodfellas, Casino etc.

Godfather 2 perfomance by De Niro was classic. Im sure he got an oscar for it.

I think both are equally talented and its more a matter of who you like better rather than whos the better actor.

I'll say Al Pacino.
