So did CONI not back down because they don't believe we will take this to the totally impartial European courts....or because they believe that the European courts will uphold the current decision. Won't they look like idiots if the European courts throw everything out?

Will the season be delayed and/or cancelled if we keep appealing up higher and higher??

Thanks.

i agree with this to be honest i am fed up with hanging on to nothing but hope, i think juventus needs to go down and prove to the world what its really made of and that next year we will be a nightmare for teams that have benefited from our hard times. i know juventus is way stronger for sth like this to bring it down and the evidence for all this is people like me , u and every one on this forum who has stayed loyal to the team as a whole not a player or mangerial figure. after all juve is juve we are still the old lady of italian soccer and this is just the begining of a long road filled with tonnes of glory and sucess for juventus and its loyal and supportive supporters every where in the world.

i think juventus now has to accept seria B and now its time to concentrate to finish off some unfinished buisness on the field not in court.

you're sure about that (Rossi = lawyer Moratti) ? This can't be, does it ?
It was the first thing I learnt about him. I can't find the source at the moment, though.

But I found this :
Rossi himself stated he was a personal friend of Moratti. He worked for Telecom's privatization (Telecom is owned by Trinchetti Provera, who partly owns Inter). Lawyer Nicoletti (Figc's vice president) has worked (or is still working) for Saras, a Moratti's company.

Here's Milly Moratti (the wife) words about Rossi:
“E’ un uomo passionale, tutt'altro che compassato. Ricordo un gol importante dell'Inter e ho in mente la sua reazione: si alzò e baciò e abbracciò mio marito Massimo. Rimasi colpita da quella reazione istintiva. Ma l'uomo è fatto così: un grande impasto di razionalità e umanità che calamita simpatia”.
"I remember an Inter's important goal and I rememebr his reaction: he got up and hugged my husband Massimo."

For now we are just looking like some cheaters. Not only! We also lost 2 scudettos and are in B with 17 penalization points. Inter is celebrating their 14th scudetto.
I'm sorry but I can't stand this. Especially knowing this is all a set up. We deserve what we deserve and we need to fight for it. For the club's history, for us tifosi, for the players, who have practically lost 2 years. Take Ciro Ferrara: he had the most scudetti won record. He lost it and is back to 7. Pessotto had 6 and Alex had 7. Rossi has raped their carreers too.
Btw, if we don't fight now, they'll understand that they can use us any way they want. I wouldn't be surprised if we got the 1998 scudetto revoked too, sooner or later. They'll make our life hell... No, we have to get rid of these people, who are making calcio even worse than how it was.

Isha I do agree about the Scudetti. We earned them and we should have them back. As I said, that is the one thing I want. It is not fair to the players who worked hard to earn them and there is no proof that these Scudetti were unfairly won. If this stands then my favorite player Canna has no Scudetti to show in his career, and yes Ciro, Pesso, Alex...etc. they have ALL earned the right to have these Championships noted in their historical records...as well as Juve's club record.

This makes me so mad...I want to scream. Looking at it from this point of view, you are right, Isha. We (Juve) should keep fighting all the way to the end and if it disrupts the season...then so be it.

Let me just say that I love Italy, have a lot of family there and spend a lot of time there...but I don't think corruption will ever be eliminated in Italy. It's too deeply entrenched there in all kinds of ways. It has become a way of life in many areas of business. All these political appointments and people in high positions with blatant conflicts of interest are just another example.

Call me cynical but that's the way I see it.
I feel the same. Its depressing. It a continuous circle (corruption cases marked by corrupt verdicts). Of course corruption exist everywhere, but in Italy, it's more transparent in the sense conflicts of interests, double standards, etc, largely get ignored. Unless you're caught with your hand in the cookie jar, no one seems to care.

I disagree. We cant let them take advantage of Juventus.

Perhaps if Juventus were as powerful as was made out, we would have 'friends' in high places and control and the top of these organisations.
Juve (Agnelli) is powerful too. This is a classic tale of the nouveau riche vs old money (Agnelli).

Alright, thats fine if you guys wanna get your hopes high on every court date then go right ahead, and maybe with some luck we will sent to A with this TAR schambles, get real we are stuck in B and the only way we can get out is by winning games,so for all the ppl who are holding the 4 leaf clover and crossing thier fingers .....have fun. but for me and the others that belive that the only way is to go out there an win....will enjoy the season more ....we have enough players to get out of B and thats how it will have to be done....

Its the principle. Juventus are being being personified as all that is wrong and corrupt with calcio. They are being made an example out of. There r some serious inconsistencies in the trial/verdicts that simply cannot be ignored. They go against basic prinicples of justice, principles which hypocrits like Morratti, Rossi, etc sound off about.

I fully understand the concept of moving on, etc, but how r we supposed to successfully move on knowing there r ppl running things that obviously have a beef with Juve? Juve cant let it slide.
