Fallout (6 Viewers)

They are both great games. And both different types of RPGs. High fantasy vs. Post apocalyptic. I love Fallout 3, New Vegas and TES V: Skyrim. I just spend much more time in Skyrim. Much more actually.

Here is one thing that Skyrim doesn't have that Fallout does, which hurts Fallout for me:

Level Cap.

Once I hit the level cap in Fallout I lost a lot of interest. Almost killed the game for me. I still finished the main story, but no longer cared as much for the side quaets and stuff. I know they put the cap in there for balance sake, but it still hurts me whenever I see I should be getting XP, but I'm not leveling up.

In skyrim there is no level cap, you can make skills legendary and basically keep leveling up forever.

elder scrolls lore >>>>> fallout lore
For sure!

Also, the Dragons in skyrim speak their own fucking language. In Fallout the fucking rad roaches don't talk. pffft...

I love this series . It has been one of my most beloved franchaises from the first time I played Fallout 2 . I still think the first 2 are 2 of the best games ever released . Was pretty fond and happy with the bethesda Fallout 3 and New Vegas . New Vegas was the best fallout experience from the two imho , the problem it had was that there was very little innovation from the previous entry so it didn't feel like something new to me . While I am excited about the new game the trailer hasn't got me that much hyped up . What has me worried is mostly the visual style (not the graphics) , it kinds of looks more geared torward fantasy to me and I am not very fond of it . I hope that when the final product arrives the visual style is changed a little . I am very excited by the story though , always wanted to know how the war started precisely . Would love if they made a prequel about the forming about the brotherhood of steel , first years after the nuclear war and The Master .

First two fallouts are best games ever. Without any questions. These new ones pails in comparison.

BTW I want the old narrator back . I hope this voice is from one of the characters and not the actual narrator . The usual "War , war never changes" sounded totally unimpressive in comparison to the old guy .

War, war never changes, but cutbacks and profit do, so forget eveything and just be happy with a clone copy of the new game.

Yeah I don't know about that, kind of weird to see big floating spaceships or whatever and big colourful buildings. I guess they wanted to do something different but it kind of reminds me of stuff like borderlands & bioshock. I'm sure it will all still be classic fallout.

also the character talking at the end is weird... maybe the player character will be voiced?
