build a floor
add walls
build the shack floor roof from the floor tab
add a ladder and get up there
add walls
repeat

or work with shack foundation, if you have endless concrete
I manage to do it, but there's that ugly space between the lower and upper wall, so the top of the building is just floating there. I have some ideas on how to cover it up, but I reached the "size" limit, so I'll probably install that mod first.

:tuttosport: What is it?

It annoys me endlessly that the houses in Sanctuary Hills can't be fixed up. I still use my prewar house and it annoys me to look at holes in the walls and ceiling :p
You open the console mode with the "~" key, located under ESC and left of "1&|". On some keyboards its the "ù" key.

- Go to a workbench
- Open console mode. (game kinda freezes and you have a tinted banner on the bottom of the screen, and white letters if you type"
- click on the workbench
First, you need to know the number of lines and triangles
- type getav 348
- type getav 34a
Both values are now displayed
Multiply the value you got for 348 by 5, this becomes your value for 349. (for example here 400 000)
Multiply the value you got for 34a by 5, this becomes your value for 34b (for example here 9000)
- type setav 349 400000
- type setav34b 9000
- exit console

enjoy pc gaming

All you need to do is open console, click on the wall you want to move and type 'modpos z -25' and it will remove the gap. I think less for the ones above doorways, like 10 or 15. Now you can have nice high ceilings

If you play on pc, you dont need a mod for that, just console commands
it's easier with this mod tbh http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1062/?

I was placing only roof and walls wouldn't get aligned. Frustrated me for awhile, as the structure didn't look the way I was planning it to be. Built 3 story house that way, but will try this method. Props for purified water suggestion. I built 3 largest purifiers and i'm producing around 50 bottles per day (maybe more), which brings me a nice earning.

    My characters initial build S3, P5, E3, C6, I6, A2, L4.

Currently at level five. Perks equipped: toughness 1, medic 1, mysterious stranger 1, local leader 1. Only found one book so far and that was the conan (gorok?) comic.
