I'm really not sure how you think he is cack. he has been counted out countless time here yet he has proved himself time and time again and will continue to do so. I really don't understand someone can think he is cack. he has scored many decisive goals, to say the least.
Mix of emotions. Back in the days I wanted to sell Matri and keep Quag as I rate him higher.

I'm just saying it's stupid to say no to these offers (if true, again) because of the already said reasons.

I know you'd like to think that we "held onto Quag instead of Matri" based purely on sporting decisions, but the fact is that two factors were more important: 1) a great offer came in for Matri, 12 million euros, and 2) it came from a club Matri wanted to play for, the club where he came through the ranks. The deal was therefore easy to complete.

As for Quagliarella: Juventus have been trying to offload him for quite awhile now. We attempted to sell him to Norwich and Southampton among others, but he simply refuses to leave. And now he's gonna turn down Lazio.

He's not really wanted by the club, and that's a fact.

I thought you would know better than to make up crap.

Marotta and his agent have both said very recently that there is no intention to sell and only will sell if the player requests to leave.

Quag is a decent backup (only because we have Tevez, Llorente, Mirko ahead of him, so like a 4th or eventually 5th choice) but 8mln for him is just funny. He's 31yo and if we're ever planning to get cash out of him it's now (if it's not too late). He's not worth it and it's a mistake not selling him if rumors are true.
I agree that it's not worth it to pay 8m for 31yo forward if you're the buyer, but I disagree that Quag's not worth it from our (seller) point of view. Hate to bring our CL campaign up, but these 2 goals and the penalty alone are worth more.

No, they are not worth more than 8mln.

If those are the reasons we should keep the player then I simply have no comment.

If others had done their job, those goals would've brought us way more than 8mln. And yes, if the player can be decisive and save our asses in the biggest of stages, I'd say it's a pretty good reason to keep him.

Save what? Are you aware that you're out of Champions League?

You talk big numbers, getting into EL is not worth 8mln, hence those goals are not worth 8mln.

Quags is liked by Lazio but there is no negotiation between the two clubs at present-SKY

I think they also say Lazio have to sell to buy.So if they sell Hernanes in this window,we can see this move happening.

Yeah, but we didn't get into EL because of Quag. We should've got into ko stages because of Quag, but got sent to EL because of sloppy defending from certain individuals.

he scored 2 decisive goals only to be let down by defensive fuckups and injury which kept him out of 2-3 games

Is it because he hasn't delivered for the club or is it because you dislike him?
I don't like him as a player. Nothing against him personally, i don't like him being the most selfish player on the planet, Shooting from impossible angles. Which 90% ends in something bad.

Besides he is 31 in a week or two. When do you expect to cash in on him?

We need to sell Gio and Vuc first anyways. Both are more sellable and are being less useful as of late.

Quags scores when called upon most fo the time , and thats all that matters. he doesnt mind to be bench warming as of late.
