I can't believe I read the last 6 pages of this thread.
Like JuveJay said, it's not the criticizing X or Y player the problem it's the trolling and counter-trolling. I think giving infractions in this thread wouldn't help much, either we ban certain members from this thread (I'm not a fan of this but seems helpful at times) or ban the trolls for 48 hours.

I have enough experience in this since the very first day of Del Piero's thread over some 10 years ago

Trolls are the ones that dislike the player faced by the counter-trolls fanboys that love the player.

So I guess one can be both a troll and a counter-troll.
@baggio I am not comparing him to anyone. I am just saying I don't like him as a player, as I feel he is too selfish and lacks the necessary cohesion and understanding with other members of the attacking/forward line. It should in no way be taken as personal hate towards him. I don't hate Quag; I'd just rather he didn't start or get that many minutes for us if possible. However, when he scored, I am happy for the team, and applaud his efforts.
@Hustini We are almost there. You just need to cool off on the Vuci hate, Quag admiration, Marchisio adulation, and constantly obsessing about the 4-3-3. In time, you shall see the light

Quagliarella is a talented player, so I have time for him. He's not a great player, that's why he's on the bench. But bench players have to play sometimes and I'm happy with him as a bench option.
He finds the net, he has hunger for goals. We shouldn't be relying on him in any way. We should just expect him to find the net when our team behind him performs up to its capabilities. And he usually does just that when provided with service.
