lol, nice admission of minutes played as well. Appearances don't mean much if there is a massive disparity between games started and sub appearances.
minutes?

so much for :troll:
I do adore Quag fanboys!

Iaquinta: 40 goals scored in 5394 minutes of playing time. That's a goal every 134,85 minutes.
Quagliarella: 26 goals scored in 3858 minutes of playing time. That's a goal every 148,38 minutes.

I know it's not a popular opinion to have (anymore), but Iaquinta was actually quite decent for us.

Fair enough, I'm prepared to accept the iron-fisted law of arithmetic when it's brought to bear (and in the event your numbers are indeed factual).

However I now ask you bring Matri into the equation of goals vs minutes.

That said, I still appreciate what Vinny did here, I just resent the manner in which he's thrown his career down the toilet and has proven himself unwilling to get himself out of this rut. If you think about it he will be nigh unemployable form this point on, how can you respect a guy who trashes his own profession career? It's nothing short of a bloody disgrace, considering what these primadonmas 'earn'.

Iaq if I'm not mistaken was one of Serge's favourite players back in the day for his exploits in the Juve jersey. It's really what became of him once the injuries crept up and how he never really recovered from that. One thing oed to another and he even went on loan to Cesena but nothing really materialised away from the club. Its easy to hate him now, but back then, he was one of the pillars of that team even it wasnt saying much. Between Iaq and Amauri, I'm way fonder of the former.

Also, this comparison as would be with Matri is too inconsistent a comparison with more variables, like the amount of game time and continuity Iaquinta got vs the stop start minutes Quag and Matri were given over an extended period of time. That too would make a difference to a player's performance and eye for goal IMO.

I posted their stats today, and matri has a better goal per minute stat, than quag.

Man of match last season:
Quag: 4 (4th on team despite being 14th in minutes)
Matri: 1

http://forum.juventuz.org/threads/36...atch-2012-2013

Minutes:
13. Matri 1790
14. Quagliarella 1548

Goals + assists
17 goal+assist: Quagliarella
12 goal+assist: Matri

CL top scorer (4): Quagliarella

No definitely keep Matri he proved to be better player
Be selective as much as possible. Consider only last season and the stats which suit you. Quag fans.

You never know with these stupid bottom clubs from the EPL.

I mean look at Sunderland. They splashed 8M on Giaccherini based on two good matches in the Confederations Cup.

I bet they never heard of him prior to that tournament.
I know man but it's better to get rid of him for reasonable price than wait to hit a jackpot.

Till now?

First -meaningless- friendly of the season :shifty:
Are you giving credence to a Quag hater's rationale?

Strong character FTW.

Selective? Says the guy who uses the FIRST friendly of the season to point out how useless the player is. You do realise you don't always come across as the voice of reason.

What a useless player.
No shit.

I'm guess a match where PdC is captain, we can see the reality of it all.
