But let's be serious for a moment between him and Matri there isn't such a gap in quality as you and couple of people here suggest. They both can score but in different ways. Bot of them had good and bad periods last year and overall for their time here they had similar impact. It's more of a matter of preference.

Voice of reason. If I'm gonna let my guard down for a little bit and just be honest: There's not a lot between them in terms of quality, despite Matri being a little bit better. It's a matter of preference indeed.

However, objectively, I'm pretty sure that - and I've been content in witnessing this lately - there are many juventini who can see that keeping the pure CF would be wiser than keeping Quag, because we have so many SS now.

Yea, always thought he's got an x factor about him as a player. I think he's one of the best depth players any team could have. Does great as a starter. Does great off the bench. Unpredictability. Imagination. Strong character. You name it. :D

Yea, but seriously, I genuinely think Quag has more facets and skill to his game than Matri does. And I'd pick him over Matri. I can understand if people want him here coz he seems a more natural fit to Llorente than Quag, but I cannot understand people berating Quag and saying he's shite when he's pretty much shut those people up all year round and proved to be one of our most effective players this season. 14th as far as minutes go, makes his contribution all the more impressive IMO.
