Yea ive got to say, our striker policy does suck. The one thing any striker needs is some continuity. We can't carry on like this all season long. Vucinic-Gio doesn't work, nor does Quag-Gio. We just got to go Vuci-Quag amd Gio-Matri, and whatever the pairings are we must persist so they get a chance to work and understand each other at least for a period of 3 games no matter what. Quag IMO didn't deserve to be benched. God knows what he'd have done against Roma? I think he's a couple of goals away from exploding into his form pre injury. But he's not going to find rhythm through stopping and starting. We got Borriello into form with so much continuity, hats the least Quag and Matri also, deserve.

Sorry, my bad. I didn't read it, my brother assumed he was the 8th, reading some article. El Sharaway, Gila, Balotelli, Osvaldo, Gio Toto, I thimk among the forwards.

He wasn't picked.

Udineseblog.it says Udinese wants to loan him in January in exchange for first option on Danilo, Armero or Benatia :shifty:

Sure they do. :shifty:

I don't think he really had enough game time. He has only started two matches so far this season, against Chievoo and Fiorentina.

But then again, Balotelli did get picked and he played even less.

I want hime to play from the beginning for the upcoming matches. Also, if he is not called in for the Nazionale, he will be fresher. I think I'd be good to team him up with Vucinic, maybe even try Bendtner. Nevertheless we should start pairing our strikers and then rotate (if at all), otherwise it's hard for them to get used to each other.

Off game from Quag. Again isolated from Gio, who I think was outstanding today. The only thing I feel about Gio is that he tends to be selfish at times. This shows in how he links with players around him. He tries to run into the opposition which is what his strength is, but then takes on too many people at one go.

Quag suffered because of his own lack of pace today, and which is why I feel he's a better link for Vucinic who plays the ball to feet. Also, without any bias whatsoevr, Quag was more visible than Matri, got stuck in a bit more in the team's cause. IMO anyway.
