@baggio Allow me to reiterate that I don't wish to sell him at all costs, but if a good offer comes in, it must be considered. 10 million for a 30 year old striker, who isn't going to get any better makes sense. Like I said, the forward line is the only line in which all the players are up for debate/available for sale if the right offer came in. We will be lucky if we sell even one of our forwards, and that's why we need to keep our options open.
Ideally, I'd like a front line of Suarez/Benzema/Sanchez (I know he isn't at their level, but he seems the most realistic option), Llorente, Vucinic (for another season or two), Muriel (for the 2014-2015 season, once Giovinco fails to deliver yet again), and another youngster (Boayke/Gabbiadini) by the 2014-2015 season.
As for next season, Anelka, Bendtner and Iaquinta are all but gone, which leaves us with Llorente, Quag, Matri, Vucinic, and Gio. Get rid of one of Quag/Matri/Gio and bring in a star performer. Better yet, get rid of two of them, and bring in a star performer + a promising youngster.
