I'm gonna be pissed if quags goes. He's always had a great attitude other than this incident, and he's finally regained his form.
Absolutely... I remember back to the 2010 WC, when Italy were stuttering badly I said through each of the group games to my cousin 'Lippi needs to throw Quags on', he had no idea who he was but came to love him after what he did when he was finally given his chance against Slovakia when he set up a goal that was wrongly given offside, and then that masterful chip that brought Italy within a goal.. After which as we know, he was signed by us and immediately hit the ground running, for all of Del Neri's faults as a manager, he had us 2nd on the table and Quag's form was a large part of that being the case. His injury was terrible and he has lost a year in his prime, without question, it has taken the best part of 18 months for him to regain his pre-injury form, and it would be a real shame for the story to end here. I hope for his sake, and that of the team, that Conte just gave him a blasting and he's sitting out a few games in punishment; even the best can make errors, and it would be best for all if he was given a chance for redemption. If he were stupid enough to screw up again, then the reprisals should become much more severe, and selling him should become an option if this is how he chooses to behave.
He learned a lesson. Coach's decision should be respected. He should have kept his mouth shut!

I much preferred Carrera to Alessio, in terms of subs, motivation, intensity and tactics... However, yes, this is very true, no matter who is at the helm, respect must be maintained for the good of all in the team!
I think the its is better for the club that he returns so it needs to be sorted asap
He's had the most hurdles over the last 18 months of ANY of our strikers, and yet, is by far the best striker in terms of economy and out and out scoring. If he goes and we find ourselves keeping Matri/Bendtner/Vucinic/Gio then expect our striker crisis to continue. At the moment Gio is looking the most dangerous of the lot of them, but has shown considerable profligacy in front of goal this year, Vucinic is creating well (as usual, when he's on form) but his finishing has been ordinary. Matri is still missing his stride, and I've seen little from Bendtner to suggest that he could magically solve our issues (though, I am encouraged by his change in attitude and demeanour, I hope it serves him well for the remainder of his career, such in the influence of the Juve mentality!).
