He only brought fresh legs, nothing else.
He must get more starts so we could see if he can replicate his last year's performances but from what he's showing us in the little time he got this season, he doesn't look good at all. More like his average self than his freak first part of last season.
He's doing not better nor worse than anyone from our attack.
What were you expecting from a sub brought on in the 70th minute? He ran, dropped back to help the defense, built up play from deep, galvanised the movement up front. Surely, you couldn't have judged him to be 'not good at all' in the playing time that he's been getting. Fifteen minutes every week. Vucinic if anything is beginning to show signs of what we've all feared from the start. There is nothing he is doing to suggest that he deserves to be starting and playing entire games without giving guys like Quag and Alex a shot, who at 37 years of age proves to be a bigger threat than Vucinic has been for a while now. There is no doubt in my mind, that Quag will be a more dynamic presence upfront if given the amount of unquestioned playing time Mirko has been getting. And anyway, now that you've mentioned this, being our resident statistician, let's pull out some stats on what the two have done in comparison to each other along with the minutes thyeve gotten. Would make for an interesting analysis. (if possible that is)
