You probably expect more because you've seen him give more. That's a start. Quag is a beasty player. He needs some continuity. That is all. He played 15 mins last game, 25 in this, after coming on as a sub. Its very hard to make an impact like that on a regular basis. Boriello has done nothing to come in ahead of him in the previous two games, and that aside, he's a complete player whose in dire need of a full game under his belt. And sooner or later, he's good enough to get it.
There's a reason why we're fans Jeeks. The guy can play. He works hard, got a great work ethic, humble enough to accept his role and then comes on and gives his all. You can't ask for more from a player. He's got the talent, the intelligence, the elegance. All he needs is some game time on the run. This stop start action can make anyone seem ineffective. Having said that, he always manages to create at least one assist or chance for himself per match in however little much playing time he gets.
I don't expect more from Quag. I know what he's capable of and he's a player that would give you around 10-12 goals a season and would see the bench in basically all the top teams in Europe, including Juventus. He's not good enough scorer and not good enough creator to play second striker.

Quag has always been great for Italy and last season when he played for a good team for the first time in his career he scored 9 goals in 17 games so I'm not gonna call him a "10-12 goals a season scorer" until we've seen what he can do with regular playing time again.
he wasnt great today and yes mirko was more lively (and frustrating); however I agree that all quagsy needs is just continuity and he'll produce the goods
