Marotta in his first year did nice at Inter, but let’s not forget that he also added some trash to their team: Young, Moses, Biraghi, Lazaro. Young did nice tho but this forum would explode if we’d sign Young.

Then there’s Godin on a high salary who failed to impress, Eriksen who doesn’t fit Conte’s system and Sensi, who started very nice, but has been injured throughout the season.

And we’ll see in the future if selling Barbosa and Pinamonti for very low prices to finance their summer and winter mercato was worth it, besides Icardi but he had to go obviously. Loaning out Nainggolan has been a mistake aswell.

Some players turned out to be very good like Lukaku and Barella, but we got Demiral, De Ligt and Rabiot.

Overall I don’t like the comparison as Marotta was main responsible and he failed to improve our midfield since 2015, meanwhile Paratici has had some really good transfers. Lets not forget that Marotta brought a lot of trash to this club aswell. I respect what he did at Juve but let’s not romanticize him as he wasn’t perfect.

It are two very different situations, like it or not but Ronaldo weights a lot on this club and while we still have some expensive players on the book we’re stuck to plusvalenze each year. Besides that it’s impossible to build a new team in one or two years, and meanwhile stay competitive, lower average age and wages. Lets stay realistic people.

Or maybe tomorrow. Or next week. Whenever he gets around to it.

I think Marotta buy Eriksen only to avoid us getting him
Eriksen can do wonder for us, and it even great if we get him for free

So they put 27m to tackle this and I think they will loan him out first for lets say 5m euro, then next year sell him
for around 20-25 mil. At least that will still count as profit for them

Paratici, you failed Juventus.

We've got:

Rugani - 26 years old defender that is Benevento level at best.
Bernardeschi - useless 26 years old that is Roma level at best.
Costa - third season mainly injured.
Matuidi - can run and hassle opponents but zero creativity upfront.
Higuain - completely finished for big football.
De Sciglio - a failed 27 years old talent that is injured most of the time.
Ramsey - a player that is average at best and needs open space (good f-ing luck finding it in Serie A) to do his "magic" when not injured.
Danilo - I can't believe he is a professional player. Amazing.
Bonucci - A 33 years old lazy average defender that is going down the hill fast.

You are the main reason we threw away a World Class coach - Allegri, because our team is already near impossible to improve according to you and Nedved.

What do you suggest, rescinding the contracts of pretty much all of these players? The idiotic thing was getting them in the first place and giving them huge contracts which they are obviously ok with sitting out. You can add Khedira too and Matuidi to some extent. However Paratici was in charge for last two on your list only so really just fuck him for not properly replacing Allegri.

Just sell them at least at their book value or pick the best offer that exceed their book value
Just recoup as much as we can from them, release them from our wages bill

Then rebuild, if we are low on transfer budget, then loan some players for teams that stack the young talented players to be backup for us
Put some option there, but no obligation. If they live up that sum, then take it

Such a poorly constructed team

Half of the players in this team are dead or low energy

Makeshift RB, midfield of low work ethic, injury prone/useless attackers

You wouldnt believe that a team that has been assembled would be the team with the 2nd highest wage bill in Europe yet here we are

Add Sarri to the mix and you have a recipe for disaster

All it took was one summer to set us back atleast by a couple of years

I dont care what happens in the next 45 minutes but this game so far kinda sums up our season

Paratici should get 1 more year - any other manager on the planet would have done a better job this year than Sarri. Bare minimum achieved and the more he stamped his mark on the team the worse we became.

Paratici built a terribly thin and unbalanced squad but it still should have had the quality to get past a dreadful Lyon side that finished 7th in the semi-professional Ligue 1!!!
