Kulusevski will be a really good player for us. Quick, plays well on the counter, skilful and with a goal-scoring touch.

We still need a top class CM (or two) though.

Will Paratici keep ignoring this area and just hand contract extensions to Uber-finished players like Matuidi?

Fuck Marotta. Stop mentioning that mofo. I get the criticism for Paratrici (not for signing a talented young midfielder tho), but reminiscing about Beppe is beta move.
its not irrelevant considering we had beppe, sacked him and now he has revitalized inter/ become our arch nemesis.

maybe if we had treated him well but we didnt, we cast him aside, struck him down and he has arisen even more powerful than we couldve possibly imagined

and now Sony playstation is a giant in game industry

Great example, and not that uncommon of a situation. The same thing happened when Steve Wozniak was rejected by Hewlett-Packard that lolled at his personal computer prototype, which then became the first Apple Macintosh.

That's why the fact that the management have been successful for 7-8 years doesn't mean they cannot make big strategic mistakes.

yeah this idea of booting out or laughing out is common indeed

blockbuster ceo lolled at netflix founders when netflix founders was looking to sell company for 20 million back in early 2000s. now look at blockbuster

obama lolled at trump and made fun of him saying he could never be president back in 2013 or 2014.

revenge is big motivator

So we sign one of the best talents of Serie A and yet people bitch?

Are we supposed to sign only Ronaldo's from now on?
Good point. Every season lets sign the best talent in the league for that half of the season, not even bring him until the following season and ignore the biggest hole in the lineup for that season.

We aren't kicking the can down the road...we are punting our problems into orbit until the following season.

It seems like some time ago the club shifted their focus to the long-term strategic planning. Which kind of looks like the right thing to do when you want to take your business to the next level, but in football it doesn't seem to work exactly as expected. As a result, in each specific moment the team is never complete enough to satisfy the current manager, at the same time having a bloated roster (which is the logical result of this strategy, when players are purchased more as the club's assets, rather than units for the manager's tactics).
