AMAZING

Like Allegri said, barely put a foot wrong all night. His assist was splendid. It’s been 5 years since we had a midfielder who played on the turn, made runs into the box, and moved around the field like this.

Indisputable starter imo. Now let’s see if Fagioli can get some game time and show what he can do.

Don’t care if he’s selfish or loses the ball here and there - the guy wants the ball, has great vision, runs at players - he’s a bundle of energy out there. We’ve been used to lethargic trash in our midfield for the last 5 years. About time we had something to get excited about.

Good use of energy, and love his ball control. I feel like a kid who's been deprived off sweets and then gets given a bagload. All of a sudden I'm sceptic, will he stay or go. Nah these sweets are coming week in week out, Allegri genuinely likes him, that alone is wtf.

What happens when Pogba returns? Because paredes is definitely starting. Is he really gonna get benched? Do we go with that diamond we had in the Pirlo/Vidal days?
I'm a big fan of the kid too but when Pogba he will be our best midfielder (as long as he plays like his old self) so he starts. We have so many midfielders that the diamond could work while Chiesa comes back. I guess mostly we'll stick to the 433 though

Quality player. His style seems Spanish, which I mean as a compliment.

There were times where he gave the ball away cheaply and when he should be more composed/look up when in the box but we badly need a player capable of opening teams up which he can.
Indeed.. and his exceptional calmness is rare for italian players as well

oh yeah, when I asked will he be benched I meant Miretti, not Pogba. I know Pogba will start lol.
