Lavezzi 'agrees Juve move'

Juventus have come to an agreement with the agent of Argentine striking star Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to Press reports.

The Old Lady will look to strengthen their squad this summer after their 2008-09 campaign fizzled out.

Sporting director Alessio Secco has a vast number of alleged targets, but a long-term ambition has been to bring Lavezzi to Turin.

The man known as 'El Pocho' has become a hero in Naples over the last two years and even has a pizza named after him in the city.

However, with the Vesuviani destined for mid-table, Lavezzi may look to relocate to one of the peninsula's giants.

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, a deal has already been agreed between Lavezzi's agent and Juve that will see the player net nearly £2.5m per season for five years.

However, the two clubs must still reach an agreement and Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is unlikely to accept an offer short of £15m.

No, but the board seems to think we do :shifty: Apparently we don't have an abundance of attacking players :sigh: :moan:

This is the board's policy; keep stacking up the front line and ignore the deficiencies at the back. A winning policy I say

Guberti will probably be ours, if Conte is the coach.
We have a chance, but he is close to Roma.

It seems Trezeguet is definitely out. If we were to buy another forward like Lavezzi I think it means Giovinco will be sent out on loan again and then he would return to replace Del Piero at the end of 2010 possibly.:shifty:

getting Lavezzi could mean we have lots of speed upfront with him and Giovinco so we don't need our defenders to push up so high
we can play counter football when needed
would give us more options in the way we play

probably getting another striker with the expectation of no Trez next season, otherwise it would be completely unnecessary

that is not so dumb, he is talented and can get even better plus he gives us more options in the way we play
I'm up with him coming
