good call i guess. green lobby has been a bit too strong lately, and while solar/wind/hydro might be the long term solution, for the next few decades nuclear could be the best solution while we fully transition to renewables

i hope they reconsider the 2035 stop to sell i.c.e. cars too. hybrids and basically any euro6 vehicles are as clean as it gets. just support the replacement of old cars and make cars more simple, lighter, and they will be fine

also it's time to better regulate trucks and air traffic/shipping. that's like ~30% and 20% of traffic related emission, mostly unregulated or way behind passenger vehicles when it comes to low emission

Im pro-nuclear. Its clean and efficient, plus we had the advantage of not dealing with earthquakes like Japan for example, especially more on the northern side of the continent. There’s a level of scientific research that comes with it that id like to keep and develop in Europe, never really got the decision of closing them. Italy is by the way prohibited to build a nuclear power plant due to a decades old referendum, which got repeated ~13 years ago.

I’m not against wind or solar either, all have their place. To me it sounds rational to have a diverse infrastructure.

I once heard a calculation of how many wind turbines you need and how many square kilometres they take versus the output of one nuclear power plant, the difference was quite shocking. Quickly fact checked it with AI: on average you need 300km2 of wind turbines to have to output of one power plant, but keep in mind it takes average sizes of the plants and turbines now so it’s not precise, but good enough to understand the differences.

If you read the comments, other readers have already noticed what you’re supposed to be noticing.

    A lack of Mexicans.
    and blacks
    and arabs
    and asians
and anything else than white people

but nomuken won't say it. i don't know why lol

either way, i invite everyone to give up their american life and spend 10 years in hungary, serbia or russia for that matter. so many russian simps emerged lately in murica, yet neither of them are willing to move. why? they should just do it if it looks so much fun from 10k km's. the amount and extent of their fafo moments would be hilarious
