That's because you belive in propaganda .
If you take into account the economic factor Orban is doing very bad .
When Orban took power Romania was way behind Hungary , probably in all aspects of life , but now I think we have surpassed them or we are at least the same as them and all this with rampant corruption in our country.
The only way this could have happend is because of way worse corruption in Hungary .
They somehow put the brakes on the economic front.

If I believed in propaganda I'd hate Orban. Trust me, mass media in Poland puts Ukraine's well-being above ours so anything that's not pro Ukraine is considered unacceptable (Orban included).

It might bump the GDP temporarily but it is very short-sighted. There is very little innovation in Poland and it is extremely hard to run a small-medium business due to complex regulations. Western corporations will look for another place as soon as the cost become too high and then your GDP will nosedive while the unemployment rates will sky-rocket.

All I know that we în România are leaving our best lives in history thanks in part to us joining the EU . No amount of propaganda is going to change this fact.

i won't, it's accurate. standard of living, gdp per capita, economic growth, average wage was all worse in romania in 2009. now you're ahead

That reminds me of the Three Seas Initiative. I like this project because it would enable the involved countries to finally escape German and Russian dominance in Europe. All the previous attempts to unite were successfully destroyed by Germany who obviously doesn't want to lose its dominance over the continent through EU. However, US is more than capable to protect this project so fingers crossed.
I would suggest to calm down a bit with this propaganda argument. Propaganda is being used by all sides in every conflict so it's not like you're immune to it. Also, just because someone has a different opinion than you doesn't mean it's because of propaganda.
Cheap labor for western companies means they are using low labor cost in post Soviet countries to maximize their profits. While there's nothing wrong in it in general, it's important how those countries use such an investment. If they invest in the development of entrepreneurship to help create more domestic companies (and consequently more jobs) it's good. Because there's a limit how long you can compete with cheap labor.
I don't know about Romania but in Poland we don't use that opportunity wisely. We pump bureaucracy and social aid instead of creating good fiscal and bureaucratic conditions to run a business and invest in innovation.
