"Balotelli underwent surgery on 8 September and was initially expected to be back in action in mid-October, but his recovery has taken longer than expected.

His recovery timetable should allow him to appear for City in their Europa League tie with Juventus on 16 December."

And after an initial big cash injection and building the squad and fan-base, who is to say Man City won't be run at break even?

Why is it wrong for a club to get a cash injection now and step up a level or two, but it was fine for other clubs to get a cash injection eighty years ago and be set up as a top level club ever since?

Tevez usually plays as the main striker with two wingers playing off him in a 4-3-3/4-5-1.

Tevez will be playing against the Juve CBs and the fullbacks will be playing against Milner and Silva/Johnson, I would think.

If Aquilani was available, I would say Juve should play 4-5-1 and match up to City, but without him there is little option but to play 4-4-2, get out-numbered in the middle of the pitch and hope to control the flanks.

I haven't seen much of Man City this season, but it has always looked like 4-3-3/4-5-1 when I've been watching.

However, the shape doesn't really matter; they are all about pace and power.

Because of their athleticism, teams are going to have to work incredibly hard to beat them.

In theory, Juve are quite well equipped to match them physically, so have a chance of making a game of it.

Yeah that's what they play. De Jong, Toure and Barry in the middle, Milner and either Silva or Johnson in the wide positions, Tevez as a lone striker.

spot on mate...Chelsea are focusing their mind on champions league fixture, thats why they aren't look great like usually they are, they can rape Man city any day.
Bullshit. They played their best team. Man City beat them twice last season as well. It had nothing to do with Chelsea focusing on the Champions League.
