Why is it wrong that Man City suddenly have money, but it is okay that Juve were bank-rolled by the Agnellis for many years?
juventus has a long history, its not the agnelli's that gave us our successes from the past. our successes in the 80'ties, and especially 90ties, were on break even, same for the mid 2000

talent grew better on us.

if at the end of 2005 we were third richest club in the world, it was because of all these years of continues successes that we didnt buy

man shitty however, get some random oil guy in, that pumps in an amouth of cash thats takes us 4 seasons to get.

the only way to win glory and fans around the world, trough investing absurd cash, is when your named "real madrid"
and even for them it has only worked after they got our zidane in, who never actually played as good in madrid as he did here

And after an initial big cash injection and building the squad and fan-base, who is to say Man City won't be run at break even?

Why is it wrong for a club to get a cash injection now and step up a level or two, but it was fine for other clubs to get a cash injection eighty years ago and be set up as a top level club ever since?

Nothing wrong with Man City, they are doing what they are allowed to do, the same thing Chelsea did when Abramovich came.

The system is wrong. I'm looking forward to the new UEFA rules next season.

Does a team like Man Utd/Barcelona have no real problems in being in large debt every season because they have such huge TV deals? That's what I dislike.

And the TV deals in Spain are stupid. Real Madrid and Barcelona receive 5 times more than the third and fourth placed teams in the league.

It's because they have a lot of assets as collateral.
