Its a competitive match, and we must play our most comptetitive team...which presently, in attack, looks likely to be diego/amauri. I am eager to see Trez get a run out, and also DP, but just a run-out, not from the start. As in the last game, Diego looked lively, and Amauri was the most confident I have seen him for a year or so...I doubt we will play against anyone weaker, technically, this season, so the players should fill their boots in this one.

A bit more sharpness from our lads and 3-0, or anything above will be most welcome and encouraging.

A mate called me Lo-pan recently, during a heated, drunken discussion about badgers, and I was taken back to my childhood, watching Kurt Russel take the piss out of the evil, wheelchair-bound chinaman, maintaining his cockiness even when told he will soon be skinned alive...a true classic...And I thought...Why not? Gutterpoet has run his course. Bring on the Lo-pan...

Indeed...that is Lo-pan. The only other ideas I had for a new username were boring football related efforts, or one of the several nicknames I have at work, and amongst mates in my homeland...Pedro...Shitgut...ratdick...dumbo. None seemed to fit the bill, so I turned east to China. At first, I wanted Mr Dai, from 1-ichi, but there is zero relation between the two of us, and whilst I am no coward, i am far from a Fists of Fury type when it comes to mortal combat, offering mainly bravery, as the Only ability. Lopan actually reminds me a little of myself...we have a similar sense of humour.

I like Ratdick...easily my favourite of the colourful assortment. Shitgut is my most despised...but it is amusing, when I see my mates at work, and other people are around, and in unison, they cheer 'hey Shitgut!!!!! yeh, its fucking shitgut!!!!'. its got no connection to me, other than its something foul. Pedro, is what some of my bricks for brains english goon mates call me, due to my sicilian surname, which is nothing close to Pedro, but it makes them chuckle. Dumbo? Because of my intellectual arrogance, and ears...hohoohohoo...but yes, Ratdick is the finest.
