He's still right though. Juve took control of the game but you can't be sure what would have happened if it wasn't Pirlo to score from the FK. This team is unfortunately very predictable and slow while attacking and is way too easy to shut down. Conte and the players do a very good job but it will take a while before this team could be actually considered as a top side.

For those reasons I don't consider Juve being EL favorites. I think Juve would truly suffer against Porto and Benfica and we'll have to face them at some point if we're to win the whole thing.

On paper yes it is. In terms of playing style Porto and Benfica are the teams you'd want to avoid. I'm not so sure but it is yet to be seen.
