I see what you mean. But there are 2 different Benficas, one that give everything on the league and even eats the grass if needed and other for the coppas, that play to secure the 0-0s on away goals and 1 goal leads in miserable, unrecognizable exhibitions. It's the coach orders to the players but the orders come even from above. It's quite sad really.
