italian teams haven't won any international trophy since 2010 but finally roma did a great job. they are ahead of us.
Ahead of us? :D There's nothing good about participating in this low tier club competition. If you play there it means you were pretty shit last season. Like 7th place or something. Of course, since you play there you should try to win it, that's what they did and kudos to them.

Well done to Roma. Mourinho made them mentally tougher.
Looking back on it, basically the last two international trophies won by italian teams in over a decade were both achieved with Mourinho as coach, which i don’t know if it just says most that it is to say about the state of italian football on the european stage or if it has something to do with the belief he instills in his players and the way he approaches this type of games that maybe some others could learn a thing or two from, however looking at the game you might easily just call it pure luck after seeing large parts of the performance itsef...

One thing for sure tho, the bastard did it again, as much of a tinpot trophy that the Conference League is, for AS Roma themselves it will always be remembered as a major historic one and even italian football in general will likely embrace it and market it as an important achievement for now so congratulations to them!

I think Mourinho is past it, but if we ever get to another CL final, I would hire him for that one game.
