I hope and think it'll be Germany :)
I hope but don't think.

In the words of Gary Linker, "Football is a very simple game. For 90 minutes 22 men go running after the ball and at the end the Germans win."

They know how to get the job done and can get results if they just defend tight and cross the ball to Klose

I wish I could've done as such but I was forced to do revision for exams and use the computer for 'research' :)D) as I was at home 'sick' ;)
    Well, do get 'better' :D

France sure as hell have a very good squad, especially in midfield, but I think they'll be vulnerable at the back with the likes of Desailly, Thuram, and Lizarazu. Santini left Mexes, Squillaci, and Evra at home because they didn't have enough experience, but his some of his defenders are very old and pace should be able to get the better of them.
A good defence (I still think its good, its just not great anymore like it used to be) is still enough with a midfield and forward like that imo but you're right, this French team is playing its last tournament. They'll see some major changes after that.

True words. The Dutch or the Czechs will be on a plane home very soon.

The Dutch have the advantage that in a game against the Germans they give 1000% and suddenly function as a team. All goes well, out of pure rivalry.

But the Czechs have a better team.

Group D is highly unpredictible. But we already knew that, no?

    My prediction:

Portugal will suprise all of you and make the semi's if not the final.

Germany won't get past the frist stage- way too boring.

    France will make final

Italy will make the semi final

And Spain will make semi's or final

Indeed that will be a surprise.

When did that stop them before?
    France will make final
That's what they said at World Cup 2002
Italy will make the semi final
That's what they said at World Cup 2002
And Spain will make semi's or final

Inzaghi quoted as being upset by Trap's decision not to call him claiming that Trap promised him a place.

No Ambrosini, I'm quite shocked, I expected him.

Aw man. I just hope Perrotta-CZanetti don't get the head start before Pirlo-Gattuso

The Czechs have an excellent midfield and play wonderfully well as a team. They'll definitely be the dark horses of the tournament

@Erik: Yeah, I think I'm 'good' enough to go to school today :D

PS. What a way to start the tournament: England-France :thumb:

The big surprise for me in the Azzuri team is that......NO AMBROSSINI.... I think he should have been in, instead of C.Zanetti. IMO, he would have done really well, and helped us alot. He has great experience, while Zanetti has nothing....Besides a Shyte WC. Unbelievable. Just so stupid.

    HOLLAND ADDED

Wish he would have taken Nigel de Jong (Ajax Amsterdam) instead of Michael Reiziger :lazy:

Other than that it looks fine.
