Excellent tactical matchup. Zero foulplay/thuggish play. Both team's defenses have been terrific. This game just.lacks a bit more quality though.

Dat pass by Bonucci :tuttosport:

There is much more pace with South American teams. Its more direct. European games are tactical and the attacking moments are planned and require patience.
There is pace in moments. European football has a high tempo combined with actual tactics. Much more complex. Germany-Italy is of a far higher level than let's say Chile-Colombia, which was a joke of a game.

That's a completely different thing. You can call it entertaining, but Hustini criticised the Germans and Italians for lacking skill and referred to the Copa. It's easier to control a ball when you're not challenged and everyone is walking around or teams are opening up left and right.
You're absolutely clueless to the sport, Seven. Not challenged Hahahaha  most ridiculous thing I've read in the tuz yet.

I'm not sure you did because the opposite of what you're saying has happened. South American teams play way faster and more direct football
More direct, yes. Faster, no. They play a sort of kick and rush, but the teams don't move like cohesive units and there is just so much space all over the pitch. Looks like 1970's football compared to the Euros.

And that is fine, when European games are well-played and the players have skill. But this Italian team is quite devoid of skill aside from the back 3, and maybe Florenzi. They have heart, and Conte's tactics are genius, but the skill is utterly lacking. This is like watching a lower-table side in Serie A play against Juve, only we've gifted our backline to that lower-table side. :D
