Kind of played stupid last portion of match when a loss would have eliminated them. A man up and would have thought they would have played more conservatively. Though they scored the clinching goal.

Going back and forth with other match until POR down 0-2 and then watched rest of this. On FS1 announcers kept talking about how the ref was so brutally bad.

thats because they mostly play in farmers leagues which probably have half the number of fixtures.

I mean look at the top goalscorer of the Euros... He plays for freaking Metz....

Not saying you specifically, but I find this European obsession with "big teams" to be so weird. Sport is about parity, I love seeing these "smaller" teams do well, no one wants to see Madrid win 300 times in a row, why bother at that point?

I posted didn't think this Euro had that much quality to it early on but probably me concentrating on the major countries. Though as it went on got interested and excited about rooting for the underdog teams even not knowing anybody on the teams.
