Solid. One really poor pass but as always makes things tick and look really simple. Dictated the game from very deep and still can't get my head around why they didn't put an attacker to take him out. First half was all about; Havertz makes a run to open space, Musiala, Wirtz and Gundugan overload the space and then Kroos finding a pass that slices 'em up and the overloading Germans to do their thing. It took my way too long to appreciate Kroos because the rest of RM was so bloody good. The brilliance is his passing and vision, it looks so simple and yet so few can do it.
Scotland's performance was so poor. This was even before they were reduced to 10 men.
The only mistake from Germany in the first half was by Robert Andrich, who has the look and sometimes the playstyle of an underground club bouncer. Being booked while leading 2-0 especially in a game where you have complete control is so unnecessary.
I thought Sane looked really poor when he came on.
Masterclass from Kroos (101/102 passes) but Scotland let him operate on his own island. They didn't even try to disrupt/press him.
