I felt sorry for him a little, you could see the pain in his eyes.
I might feel sorry for him when he resigns. Before that taking full responsibility is just a bunch of words. A million factors paved the way for them to win it yet he threw it spectacularly.

Got to say love the respect we are getting from all nations, including even in england. Big thank you to Mancini for marketing Italian football. Hopefully we attract more serie A fans and money in general.

He's a bona fide tool, one day he's blm the next he's all churchilled up.
Meh, it was easy to get carried away. Living in it there was a wave of optimism and delirium, he got caught up.

That said, the world war comments were laughable. I think he needs to educate himself or get his words out better. Some English people do still look back and have this banter with the Germans over the world wars, in the sporting arena, but it's nowhere near as literal as what he suggested. I don't think having national pride is a bad thing, but what he suggested is pure jingoism.

He's not a bad guy at all, there are far worse people around the England set up and analyst base.

National pride is a great thing, as long as it is genuine and not just rhetoric to score brownie points. I honestly don't know much about him beyond the stuff he has been saying lately so I'll take your word for it.

Sorry I meant it should have been after England’s. Why was it changed for? That annoyed me.

Ridiculous.

Has there been any other game where the home team has had its anthem 1st?
I said to a few people last night. “Wouldn’t surprise me if they played Italy’s anthem first” seeing as everything is given to them on a platter. and then it happen. Pfffft.

My honest congrats to Azzurri fans. Can't stand England. So, 2nd time European champions? Now you're tied with Les Blues. Fucking Germany.
