yep, very mature indeed, exactly what the Germans lacked - situations decided the game in the first half when, if anything, Germany were dominating, leading the play and creating the chances.

Rather lackluster and uninspired performance form Germany in the 2nd, as if they didn't believe they could turn it around - bar the last 3-4 min - despite all the chances they had in the 1st half. Very uncharacteristic performance by the Germans in this 2nd half - showed no heart and motivation.
If anything, if not for Marchisio, Diamanti and Di Natale choking, Italy could have easily doubled their goals on the counter.

And people hating on Balo and Cassano and praising small-game, bench-destined chokers like Diamanti and Di Natale are just

Balo, Cassano and Montolivo - deciding the game out of virtually nowhere
