Does that matter ? no
Why doesn't it matter? It's one fucking goal against Ireland. The same Ireland who got buttraped by every other team in the group. Big fucking deal, he scored against the slut of the tournament.

Iniesta stopped the ball with his hand, and Rakitic was horrible as usual, what a miss. Too bad, I want Spain out of this Euro so much
If by hand, you mean shoulder. Yes, yes he did.

Btw, at 1:0, with 6 minutes left on the clock, Spain were wasting time on throw ins, even though they knew that 1:1 sends them to the quarters as first placed. Even for the last free kick in the 93rd minute, Spain defended it professionally. There was no intention at all for anything other than fair play from both Spain and Croatia.

I had a strong feeling that Spain could have been sent home tonight, such a shame Spain scored a very well calculated goal.
I'm actually glad they scored the goal.
0:0 was sending Spain to the quarters anyway. But I have a ticket for the match between winner of group D and runner up of group C, and I definitely didn't want Spain to be that runner up. I will now at least get to watch Italy and the Juve players.

If only Rakitic scored that :(
Modric had a monster match.

And Casillas with some excellent saves.

Because the past is where it is past. That goal was now and his first of many for the national team

Heroic performance from my boys. Kept the Spaniards clueless and chanceless for 88 minutes. They only scored when Bilic put all the attackers in and we went full attack. Rakitic missed the chance of the match. Huge miss that would have easily sent the Spanish home.

This is the weakest Spain I've seen in years. A little bit of organization is totally neutralizing them and a bit more quality in midfield and attack from the opponents will 100% send Spain home.
I think it's del bosque's fault above all - he is trying to emulate Barca with a midget-based front 3 but is looking lost and clueless in the process. Today he even put on Navas, a winger, w/o having a target man up front and Navas was crossing or looking to cross for 30+ min to Silva and then Fabregas, who were surrounded by a bunch of defenders each of whom 190+ tall.

iirc, Del Bosuqe's taken only Torres and Llorente, who is yet to play, to the Euro's with him and will be relying on attacking mids to the scoring for him, forgetting that it's mostly Messi, who does that at Barca, I guess.

Prandelli fucked up big time, he should thank Buffon, Barzagli and Cassano for saving his ass here, he was the worst part of Italian team today. His team looked unprepared mentally, tactically out of shape and by taking off Cassano, who made everything click for Italy, he pretty much turned the game into a lottery. Today it was obvious that he has never coached a big team before, you gotta learn fast Cesare.

So Italy will most likely play England? When will that game be? So happy we are through, we need to play better. We have shown patches of good play but need to be more consistent, we cannot sit back.

I applaud both Croatia and Spain for their sportsmanship. Sorry Alen I would have loved to have seen your boys knock the Spaniards out.

Those saves were at 0:0. He had to do it because his team would have been eliminated had they lost :D

I'm trying to find a reason why Croatia were eliminated and to put the blame on someone, but I just can't find it. Italy and Spain are better teams. Against Italy we were lucky not to lose and against Spain we played much better than anyone would except. We gave our all, the good luck (Italy's wasted chances) and bad luck (Rakitic's chance tonight) nullified themselves. Two great second halves from Croatia and a routine win against Ireland. More than I expected tbh.
