sweini at milan is not happening , IF thiago get's sold they should get 30-50 mil , sweini would cost 35 and he get's 10 mil/year , to add to that next year they will be without silva-nesta so they would still need money for 2 other defenders and with sweini all the money from silva finishes . i don't think they need pato and even if they sell ribbery or robben i doubt they would sell also sweini in the same year and even if they do , seeing their financial situation and the amount of money they would get of those signings i think they could go for much better options than robihno/pato

Pieters is their starting LB but I think he was left out due to injury. Even Urby would have been a better choice than this Willems kid also because he is a very versatile player.

They lack proper defenders across the entire defensive line, though, not just LB.

People keep moaning about De Jong and Van Bommel, but I don't see them as a problem.

Holland have created a pretty decent number of chances between the two games and have failed to take them, so they need to be more clinical, not more creative/attacking.

Defensively they struggled tonight because the front four didn't do enough to help De Jong and Van Bommel. The lack of assistance meant those two effectively were outnumbered in midfield and Germany are intelligent enough to move the ball to find the spare man.

If Afellay, Sneijder and Robben helped as much defensively as Podolski, Ozil and Muller, that game could well have finished very differently.

willems is 10x better then urby i don't want to play lb. he wasn't to blame today.
