Germany were decent in the first half and lost focus in the second.
Holland were very poor.
People keep moaning about De Jong and Van Bommel, but I don't see them as a problem.
Holland have created a pretty decent number of chances between the two games and have failed to take them, so they need to be more clinical, not more creative/attacking.
Defensively they struggled tonight because the front four didn't do enough to help De Jong and Van Bommel. The lack of assistance meant those two effectively were outnumbered in midfield and Germany are intelligent enough to move the ball to find the spare man.
If Afellay, Sneijder and Robben helped as much defensively as Podolski, Ozil and Muller, that game could well have finished very differently.
